Terri VanDyke - About Me

I have been a teacher at John Paul II since the merge of St. Pius X and Queen of the Holy Rosary grade schools. My career in teaching has always been in the Archdiocese of Kansas City Kansas.

I am a product of Catholic education having attended St. Pius X Grade School and Bishop Miege High School. I earned my undergraduate degree in elementary education from Emporia State University and my graduate degree in math curriculum from the University of Missouri.

My husband, Mark, and I believe in the importance of Catholic education. Our three children attended St. Joseph Grade School and Bishop Miege High School. Our boys  earned their college degrees from Benedictine College and our daughter earned her degree from Georgia Southern University. We have three grandchildren under the age of 5. We are so blessed to have them living nearby as they bring such joy to our lives.

I love teaching math and feel very blessed to work with our middle school students. I feel passionate about helping all students find success as they learn math through their middle school years.

The community of JPII, the priests, teachers, administration, parents and students are all a part of what makes JPII a very special place.
